Tough Times

Poor baby. She's been sick since Thursday--fever, not eating or drinking well, eyes watering, scratching behind her ears. E took her to the doctor on Saturday, not our regular woman, but a partner in the group. He said that she didn't have an ear infection but that her throat did look red. She probably doesn't want to eat/drink because it hurts and she scratches behind her ears because the pain is in the back of her throat. He said something about a summer virus going around. Today it seemed like it's transitioned into more of a cold...breastfeeding is going a bit better, appetite is still not normal, nose is running like a faucet, chest seems a bit congested. The doctor said to call back Tuesday if she doesn't seem better.

A bit blurry, but don't her eyes look a little sunken? We're worried a bit about liquid intake. :(
