it's a bird, it's a plane...

...it's Super Simone. Just a "few" recent pics!

I just thought this was a funny expression--so not smiling for the camera...and look at those cheeks! :)

Her intense gaze--like I've mentioned, also very into poles. I've given up trying to get her to not touch them on the bus or in the subway (this is an umbrella pole on a patio table). I just try to make sure I have hand sanitizer with me!

With Mommy's baseball cap. She has a pink one of her own that reads "Sweetheart" (one of our names for her) on it that's a little big. Daddy couldn't take the bright pink so he bought her a cool Columbia one. I'll post photos soon.

She likes to explore surfaces up close and personal. She also does this when we're on the suspended bridge in the playground that is holey.

As I mentioned in the Colorado post, S seems to really enjoy the outdoors. She laughs when the breeze blows in her face and likes grass.

She used to do this "stick out your lower lip" thing but now she does this one on occasion:

Our not-so-happy girl. If she cries right away or flips over and pushes herself up on her hands...you know she's not ready for bed.

As E says, S loves "edges." Among other explorations, she likes to lift up the carpet and inspect the rug pad underneath:

S is eating much more solid (non-pureed) food. She loooves scrambled eggs. Near the end of the meal she often tries to grab the spoon and feed herself:

Her second wedding:

Navel gazing?

More evidence of her backwards only locomotion:

My groggy girl:
