Painting seems to be S's favorite art activity at school. Whenever there's the opportunity she makes more than one painting. Here is one of her "collections":

Our Moms Group went on our first ever day retreat. We focused on prayer and meditation, learned how to quilt a bit, and had some solo time. I was gratified that everyone found the day to be a real blessing and that there were both regular attenders and those who normally can't come on Fridays because of work or distance.

- Was observed by my department chair, felt good about it and got positive feedback
- Busy with lots of afternoon and evening meetings due to being on the board at S's daycare and the decision to fire the executive director and to being on the search committee for a new Director of Diversity where I teach
