Lois Halim 1913-2010

Grandma suffered from a major stroke two days before we left California. She never recovered functioning and passed away this week. S and I will fly back to California for her funeral on the 27th.

Celebrating Uncle Daniel's Bday this summer:


Grandma:
- was the favorite of her father (one of the stories she liked to tell)
- was proud of having six sons
- was a great knitter
- was strong (could move furniture by herself)
- was stubborn
- was hospitable and loved having guests
- loved to play her keyboard and sing hymns
- loved eating and had a big sweet tooth
- told me she could tell E was very studious because he had no hair on his forehead :)
