New England Charm

Simone and I enjoyed the hospitality of Christine, Jim, Isaac, and Ellis this weekend. We had fun going to the park, library, strawberry picking, eating ice cream, and yummy chowder.

In the strawberry field...I'd been worried it would rain all weekend but we actually got some warm sun:

While being in the field was novel at first...

I think Christine did most of the actual picking:

The fruits of our labor:

Looking at the animals, for some reason Simone looks older to me in the shot:

Where's the goat?

There you are!

BJ's, a warehouse store where the carts are big enough for two! You would never see this in NYC.

In trying to get photos, sometimes the only way to get them to look in the right direction would be to ask, "Where's Auntie Jan?"

We spent an afternoon at Kimball's - originally known for their ice cream they now have a petting zoo, arcade, mini golf, and bumper boats!

Trying to get a photo of the three amigos. CC remarked that Simone looks shorter in person than on my blog. You can really see what a shrimp she is when you compare her to the boys:

We had fun chillin' at home. Yes, we're trying to get bath shots of Simone with all the Wheaton boys (Callan, Thatcher, Josh, and Austin, you're next!):

Simone looks a little diva here, but Christine was a good sport:

A progression of child seats...Simone and the boys really enjoyed playing together. They were very nice to her...didn't tempt Christine to have a third though. I guess that's what visits are for.

Ellis took your Christmas card and said "Baby-mone" = "Baby Simone". Thanks for posting the pix, hopefully will get the rest from you when we see you soon!
