Noemi at seven months....
- loves to put things in her mouth, including other people's hands. We chalk it up to "teething" but nope, no teeth, yet.
- loves to grab everything, especially hair as Simone will attest to.
- is doing a little bit better about eating solids starting with our time in California. My trick is to let her hold a mum-mum or teething biscuit or even a spoon - when she goes to put it in her mouth I swoop in with my spoonful of solids.
- loves mum-mums; I've been stocking up on them at Target.
- still doesn't like tummy time but has recently at least stopped flipping over after ten seconds. Not that I'm in a hurry for her to crawl... The other day she did scootch back while on her tummy a good six inches!
- is in that stage where she loves to scratch and feel different textures; a paper bag can provide endless entertainment.
- is persistent. Sleep training was interrupted by our California trip but we've let her cry it out the last two nights...which means she has cried from 3:30am - 7:00am. Thus, she hasn't actually successfully self-soothed herself back to sleep. Just outlasted us.
- will grab me arm and hold it to her when I try to put her down for a nap (think she's traumatized from the sleep training).
- would eat paper if she could.
- can hold a bottle (though glass ones are pretty heavy!).
- is still great generally about letting people hold her and is a pretty happy kid.
- has quite the head of hair that is showing a bit of wave (as mine did before a babysitter cut it off as my mom will tell you).
- looks like both Simone and me in certain photos.
