we are family

This has been a month of family gatherings - on E's side there was Mother's Day, his sister's PharmD graduation and two birthdays. On my side, my sister, Joy, was in town from Stockholm and we had a chance to get together before she went to her ten-year college reunion.

This and that:

- In case I haven't officially mentioned it, I'm pregnant! And expecting a little sister for Simone and the beginning of September (may be able to tell from above photos).

- Been having fun outings with the gals: Dumpling Man plus Spot Dessert Bar with a couple of the moms from church, SATC2 and brunch at requisite hip "slow food" eatery with my sister and friend.

- Been reading: Long for this World written by a friend of a friend and books on sisters/girls i.e. Girls on the Edge and You Were Always Mom's Favorite! I would recommend all of them.
