Saturday, E took S to have their lunch in Riverside Park. Lunch was pizza and E started feeding a squirrel some of his crust. Then, all of a sudden, according to my usually quite lucid hubby, the squirrel started "crying." S got really concerned. She jumped out of her seat and tried to share her pizza with the squirrel. Of course this startled the squirrel and it ran away. S was quite upset and wanted to find the squirrel.
I'm finding that part of my "S is two" report is not holding up i.e. I'm becoming convinced that she may be an introvert. However, I still have hope that the compassionate/kind character trait is in there and can be nurtured!

Wednesday was a beautiful fall day. S and I hung out with our good friend Wendy for one last time before she embarked upon her world travels (won't be back until January).
