While much is still home, this visit to OC there have been glimpses of the OC I never knew. Simone and I went with Dad to San Onofre State Beach where it was pretty much all white families with big trailers and surfboards. This morning May and I took Simone to the park and it was all these Little League families there for games. What's the same? The food and the mall. :)
It's fun to see Simone interacting with everyone - pulling Grandma into the play house for tea, asking Granddad to hold her hand at on the trail, building sand castles with her first cousin once removed, Hannah, being gentle with my friend Lili's seven-month-old son, etc.
Welcome to Cali!
