first day in cali

Our first day in town...we were going to go to the library but the weather forecast calls for a week of showers so we decided to take advantage of the sunny weather. After a drive down the Pacific Coast Highway we stopped and spent an hour at Crescent Bay Park in Laguna Beach, one of my favorite OC pockets.

We later met Grandma at Crystal Court for lunch at Wahoo's. I'm making up for the things I missed out on the last time we were here - like Wahoo's and ramen at Mitsuwa. Yum.

She was also entranced by the carousel and went on her first carousel ride.


But sitting on a horse was too scary so we ended up on the one bench seat.
