Yesterday at the Target refreshment stand they had two icee machines. One of the flavors you could get was a Crushed Melon from Jones Soda...slushees going upscale! Apparently I am not the first to notice as I got this photo off of Flickr.
The last time I went to JCrew I saw a young mother with a Maclaren stroller, an Ergo carrier, and a Skip Hop diaper bag. I have all of these. The diaper bag was even in the same color. She was shopping and talking on her cellphone. I was a bit dismayed to have all the same trappings of Manhattanite motherhood as her. I think what put it over the top for me was that she had BOTH the stroller and carrier AND was talking on the cellphone while shopping.This morning at breakfast E comes into the room holding a photo he'd seen on my desk, asking who it was....um, any guesses?
