day one
Creating a blog is no easy business....finding an available address is worse than creating a new e-mail. I don't know how many names I tried. Some failed ones include wonderland, zipper, lalala. And I couldn't just do anything! :) It goes with our whole need for individual expression. This weekend e and I were talking with our friends Jen & Cam about the whole wedding phenomenon of feeling like every detail of the day needs to reflect who you are as a couple. So here I've been sitting and trying to think if there is anything (inanimate object, poem line, adjective, sound) that reflects moi. I decided to turn to the world of art for inspiration. "Woman Walking" comes from looking up the Peggy Guggenheim in Venice (one of my favorite stops on our trip there this spring). It's a piece by Giacometti - just thought it was catchy.
