Halloween 2012

There were a myriad of Halloween activities and celebrations in our neck of the woods. I, of course, wanted to take advantage of all of them. But we only took advantage of some of them.

Simone likes to change things up costume-wise. This is a cheerleading outfit Ezer picked up for her at a costume swap (under duress as I couldn't go). This is pre-library Halloween party.

This is a celebration at a local church. Simone wanted nothing to do with the haunted house section but enjoyed the crafts, cupcake decorating and Halloween bingo!

Noemi's school invited parents to come for the last half hour of the school day to enjoy circle time activities and take photos of the munchkins.

This one is at the Whole Foods Halloween party - what kid doesn't love white glue.

And finally, the big day! We went super early and there weren't many folks home right by us so we ended up driving to another neighborhood that had a lively scene (and even traffic blocked off for part of it). It was fun to run into a few folks we know.

Yes, trick-or-treating in the Midwest can require wool coats (it was so warm last year though!). Like the bag Simone decorated at school? Noemi's is a freebie from a resale shop (hence, the initials JT on the front if you were keeping track).

N's favorite Halloween candy is M&Ms. Simone is a Kit Kat fan.

Hope everyone had a safe and fun Halloween!
