noemi baptism

On the 17th of April, Noemi Nia X was baptized at Emmanuel Presbyterian Church. It was Palm Sunday and it was nice to have all the kids up at the front watching with their palms. Charlie explained to them that Noemi was not just Simone's little sister but little sister to all of them because Jesus was their big brother. Simone looked a bit confused/alarmed at that. Afterward we had a celebratory luncheon. It was great to have our pastors, family, and friends there. Our pastors Charlie Drew and Scott Strickman came. Noemi's godparents Wendy and Ali Ager and Lish Simpson were also there along with Ginny Ng, Simone's godmother. Na (auntie) May Ling and her boyfriend, Ko, were also able to join us and were so kind as to take videos and photos during the day. We are blessed to have such a rich extended and spiritual family.
