bday part I

I had a nice time with a few friends Saturday night--goodies and games. We played this new one called Boxers or Briefs where you try to match up statements that are either true of the target person or that they will find funny. We also played a single team Taboo game. One friend, Carly, made me a guava cake! I had asked her earlier if she knew of any Hawaiian bakeries in NYC (nope); she's from Hawaii. It was a really thoughtful surprise--I know how much effort it takes to make one of the layer cakes with frosting!
